Powerful winds, rains and winter storms are a reality of Andreas Oberbauer’s unusual job as the postman for Germany’s highest mountain, the Zugspitze. The 53-year-old’s daily commute, whatever the weather, consists of taking a cable car to the Zugspitze’s summit, approximately 2,962 meters above sea level.
