Keanu Reeves Band Dogstar Hard Rock Cafe Myrtle Beach Grand Opening mid-90’ footage shot by Dan Michaels for use in packages on WBTW-TV13, CBS affiliate. Having so many apparent video experts on this thread, I couldn’t help but come up and explain the quality or lack thereof contained in this video. Believe me, I give a rats ass if you know it or not but so you can sleep better I will provide the backdrop for you. This was 1995--analog, not digital, not HD and actually shot with very high end cameras for the time. The additional video dropoff is due to the one or two generation losses when transferred to tape so I could keep it as the news station actually owns the originals. We could not make HD copies of HD videos back then without loss. As far as the shooting itself, this footage was shot as B-roll (google it) focusing on Keanu Reeves as the story while shooting the rest of the band as an afterthought.
