MILLET | Directissime of Pointe Walker

After 4 nights and 5 days of climbing the North Face of the Grandes Jorasses (Mont-Blanc massif), Millet athletes Charles Dubouloz and Symon Welfringer, along with their friend Clovis Paulin, reached the summit of the “Directissime de la Pointe Walker“ route on Monday 13 February. They braved the icy conditions to achieve bott;: the 1st repetition, the 1st winter ascent, all in free climbing This line was opened in June 1986 by Patrick Gabarrou and Hervé Bouvard, and had never been repeated since. ---- Shots by Bertrand Delapierre, Yannick Boissenot & Mathis Dumas.
