“IT’S HAPPENING AGAIN/ IT’S BEEN TOO LONG“ - I BELIEVE MORE TWIN PEAKS IS COMING

The first quote of this video’s title is from a post by Kyle MacLachlan via Instagram about it being 32 years exactly since the finale of Twin Peaks season two. ’It’s been too long’ is Dana Ashbrook’s reply to Kyle M. on Twitter. I discuss his talk of feeling nostalgic and if he could be hinting at returning to the show again. He ended his post with ’don’t be a stranger’ which makes me wonder if that is some sort of script (unfilmed/ unrecorded) quote. Some may discard this sort of clue-hunting but it definitely fits within the world of Twin Peaks to imagine something cryptic is lurking. Its easy to be perplexed by this sort of posting by a big Twin Peaks lead actor but the fact that Dana Ashbrook followed it on Twitter with ’It’s been too long,’ directly in response to Kyle, was certainly intriguing. That’s the sort of thing old friends say to each other - which of course, they are. Also, Kyle did like a person’s response of ’it’s happening again’ - so that’s another plus to my theory. In conclusion, I feel there is something being hinted at but its still somewhat out of reach - even if its less obscure than the Wisteria postings which many fans noticed over the last couple of years. In terms of the two actors, if I was involved in a script for all that I might imagine in further Twin Peaks, I would most definitely involved Cooper with Deputy Bobby. The Return lacked any scene where they were involved, however Bobby did seem to be tuned into something with his very similar comment about really needing to urinate - which Cooper of course did in the first episode too.
