ADVERBS

An English lesson for intermediate students which focuses on adverbs. In particular, we look at the position of the adverb in the sentence as well as some confusing adverbs. 1) When the adverb collocates, it goes with it’s corresponding adjective. 2) Adverbs of manner go after the verb/noun which they describe. 3) Comment adverbs go at the start. 4) Adverbs of frequency go after ’be’ and modals and auxiliaries but before the main verb. late / lately near / nearly hard / hardly in the end / at the end Mor
