24 Days Faster: New Vladivostok-Chennai maritime transport corridor will reduce delivery time of goods between India and Russia by 40% This route will contribute to the development of the Far East by increasing cargo transportation volumes and attracting additional investment in the region’s infrastructure. Discussions on the prospects for the development of the maritime corridor will continue within the Russia–India business dialogue at the Eastern Economic Forum 2024. For India, the new corridor will become an important link within the Indo-Pacific Initiative aimed at strengthening the country’s economic ties with ASEAN states.
