Monoprinting with stencil

This large work was not filmed as a demo video but I took work in progress photos as I completed the artwork, this was a slow process and uses one of my hand cut stencils similar to the previous video. MUSIC: From YouTube audio library I’m working on heavyweight paper that is primed and suitable to use with oil paint, colours used are Prussian Blue and Vandyke Brown. I use a cotton bud, sponges and rags to achieve the effects. The stencil didn’t fill the composition so I extended it with improvised free hand drawing.
