Regression Test.

The title of this piece is “Regression Test”. A Regression Test is a test run on computer software that is done to verify that a code change in the software does not impact the existing functionality of the product. That is a lot, and a bit nerdy but bear with me. This title seemed appropriate given the current state of things in our valley. The new era of Crested Butte seems to be going a certain way, possibly a different direction than in generations past. Has this “New Era” impacted the originality, the beauty, the deeply rooted culture of this place? That is not a question for me to answer, more something to think about moving forward. Change is inevitable, and we should embrace it, but sometimes I don’t want change. Sometimes I just want to go snowboarding in the woods with my friends, just like we have always done. This film is aimed to capture some of the things I love about Snowboarding in Crested Butte. Enjoy!
