Sonic Wave by Cyclic (Extreme Demon) ________________________________________ My journey: Flashing back to 2016 to begin, I first heard of this level through some of my primary school friends. Back then, this level was one of the hardest levels at the time (I think sw was published sometime around here). Throughout 2016-2018, life was a blast, not needing to worry about anything, and just playing GD whenever we could, wondering who would be the first to ever beat an extreme demon in our little group. Fast forward to 2021, having moved schools and played various other games, I came back to GD to try this game once more. A new iPad, new beginning, eventually beating my first extreme and establishing a place in the mobile community. Whilst I had many aspirations and dreams from the point onwards, I would not have ever imagined myself to complete Sonic Wave on such a device. It didn’t seem possible, unlike Bloodbath, where someone had beaten it prior on mobile. Speaking of Bloodbath, I had only gained to confidence to try Sonic Wave again, for real this time, due to the Riot/Cyclic rivalry that came to shape such levels in the history of GD. Having been motivated by DashY, and Biprex, who showed to me that this level was actually possible on mobile, I decided to commit my GD career to this level. My channel as of right now, is based off of so many sonic wave references like the pfp and banner because I knew that one day, if i want to be remembered for something… it would be Sonic Wave on mobile. Well… here I am, writing this description, a dream come true. It really feels amazing knowing that this is finally complete, just in time before my final exams for school. It has been…so long, and I am so grateful for everyone who have encouraged me, supported me, and shaped me to become who I am. The person who first joined the mobile community from Acu, to beating my first ML demon Allegiance, jumping to Aftermath, Bloodbath, Aronia, Artficial Ascent (one of my very first dreams [was top 3 also at the time])…the whole lot. I wanted to be an inspiration for many mobile players who struggle with mental blocks, who believe that it isn’t possible to beat levels of such calibre. Becasue the truth is, this journey has been the embodiment of all those thoughts, and dreams that I’m sure many people have had during their time as a GD player. Here is my magnum opus, the completion to top all completions, a Top 3 ML demon, quite possibly… my final hardest.
