There’s a theory that The Omnium Cataclysm are connected to Grayspace/Darkness. Nan yin’s plan is to collect Abyssant Crystamaxes to Ascend and have the ability to go back in time to prevent the Massive Omnium Cataclysm by going back in Asperia Pre Cataclysm. This is to ensure that The Darkness will be averted in Domain 9.
