DJ Mix recorded on June, 2023 on the island of Florianópolis in southern Brazil As I’ve mentioned before, I live on an island in southern Brazil called Florianópolis. There’s an expression here that says you need to leave the island to see the island. Nothing could be truer. Sometimes you need to take a step back to understand things. Sometimes you need to climb to the top of a building to look at the city from above and disconnect from the pressures of the streets, the traffic, work, capitalism... and allow yourself to feel, to move, to dance. This is the second part of a series of videos that I’m releasing here on the channel, aiming for that simple act of feeling, of leaving the island, of climbing to the top of the building to engage with beauty and subjectivity, detached from the brutality of language and intellect.
