Slightly mature warning. I went into this movie with an open mind. I had skimmed the first book and found myself largely unimpressed by it. But hey--I like fanfiction. I might like this, I thought. It’s free to watch on certain cable right now--I’ll give it a go. I was SO impressed with this movie. Don’t get me wrong--it’s probably not Oscar-worthy (although the soundtrack is pretty good at setting the mood).
