The day has finally arrived: My attempt at a 300 km eskate backpacking trip on my purpose-built DIY electric skateboard! This skatepacking adventure gets off the rails right away; losing time and doing a lot more hiking than I bargained for. I risk not making it to my camp site for the night, ride in the lane with fast-moving traffic, and stress out with range anxiety--but one thing’s for certain; this adventure certainly is not boring!
