If you were the Only Girl in the World

A very sweet song about love and possible scene REALLY hit home with me. It let me know that for all the technological change in the world, the human heart has remained vigilant and unchanging in its longing for loved ones away fighting, during a time of war and such potential loss expounds all cultures. For 17 years I was a career U.S Army Officer. I had seen deployments to Somalia, Haiti (1992-1993) and finally Iraq 2004-2006. I KNEW what it was like to know I might not come to try to NOT worry about people at home, worrying about ME. When I saw this scene, it made me burst into tears.
