Life is Strange - True Detective Intro

An almost 1:1 recreation of the intro of True Detective’s first season, with Life is Strange characters and environments. All characters were rendered in Blender by me, and all environments were recorded from either the original game or its remaster, and everything was composited together in DaVinci Resolve. This was my first time trying to do advanced compositing, especially in Resolve, as I’d only used it prior to this for simple color grading and tweaking, and happens to be the most complicated project I’ve undertaken in a long while. The song used here is Faris Monshi’s “Chrysalis“, go and give it a listen! Had to trim the song a bit to make it fit the intro’s length.
