Levi’s Gran Fondo 2011 - GoPro Ride Video

A bike ride with Levi Leipheimer. Just how much fun is Levi’s Gran Fondo? See and cycle for yourself. 7,500 cyclists set out from Santa Rosa, California on October 1, 2011 in a start that strained the edges of the streets. On all routes, riders cycled through town with law enforcement handling rolling closures and intersection monitoring, ensuring safety and swift passage for riders. Out on the course, rest stops were located approximately every 12 miles with great food and beverages, mechanical support, and toilets. In between, there was full motor support and EMTs in case of emergency or the need to abandon and catch a ride for you and your bike back into town. Once the pedaling was done, all riders and their families enjoyed an excellent meal, a frosty beer, local wine, live music, kid’s events, and a huge vendor exhibition back in Santa Rosa!
