A Long Dormant Volcano is Awakening; Fresh Magma Detected Underneath Kendeng

A volcano which has not erupted in 100,000 years appears to be the site of an ongoing intrusion of magma. This intrusion has resulted in two notably damaging earthquakes which effected approximately 200 homes, even causing some walls to collapse. So, why exactly is magma intruding underneath a volcano that for all intents and purposes should be extinct? This video will answer the aforementioned question and attempt to analyze the severity of the ongoing situation.
