9 Million m3 of Magma on Standby Near Grindavik - Submarine Eruption On the Reykjanes Ridge?

While we wait for the next eruption by Grindavik I have to mention some of the submarine eruptions that have occurred throughout history, and might even occur soon on the Reykjanes Ridge. This might help you to understand the big picture although it’s impossible to do so fully. As for the Grindavik eruption, I dont think it’s more then 1-3 days until we get some-me big news as it’s already 9 million cu/m in the magma chamber by Svartsengi. The MET office was a bit hasty with the last prediction but i’m sure it’s about to come up any day now.
