Cuts (rushes, out takes) for stories in Colour Pictorial - CP 385. The original stories are on Pathe Master tape *PM0181*. 01:30:42 to 01:37:47 cuts for story MODEL CARS in CP 385. Various shots of the different processes involved in the manufacture of Matchbox cars. There is a shot of car shells being sprayed yellow that is not seen in the finished version as well as more C/Us of the factory workers. There are also some extreme C/Us of the toys being painted. At one point, a small yellow truck is show being trodden on by a man’s shoe - presumably as a demonstration of the toy’s durability. Good general shots of toys on the conveyor belt and being demonstrated by the firm’s managing directors. Interesting shot, taken from beneath, of hanging boxes moving on a high up conveyor belt.
