Vasily Georgievich Wrangel: Romance, Op.1/4

Baron Vasily Georgievich (Egorovich) Wrangel (1862-1901) was the son of a senator , Privy Councilor of Baron Georgy Georgievich (Yegor Yegorovich) Wrangel. In fact, the Wrangel family is a Baltic German noble family, whose members have also been included in Swedish, Russian, Spanish and Prussian nobility. The family’s earliest known patrilineal ancestor is the knight Eilardus (1241†).
