Trans* artist RYAN CASSATA performs “HANDS OF HATE“ at the EQUALITY HOUSE

On a freezing cold day, I passed through Topeka, KS on my US national tour and decided to stop at the Equality House to play my song “Hands of Hate.“ The Equality House is right across the street from the Westboro Baptist Church, a group that is well known for hating the queer community. I was very nervous that members of the church would come outside while I was there. Luckily, they didn’t and everything was safe. A few neighbors came outside in support of the song.
