Russian Uragan in action Crews of the Uragan multiple launch rocket systems of the Central Military District destroyed a Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold in the Krasny Liman direction. Having received the coordinates of the target, the crews of the Uragan of the Centre group moved to the combat area. Having taken up a firing position, the crew deployed the combat vehicle and aimed it at the target. The Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold was destroyed by volley fire. During the execution of a combat mission, crews of the Uragan MLRS, using various types of ammunition, hit lightly armoured vehicles, personnel and enemy strongholds located both at the forefront and in the rear of the enemy’s defensive formations. The combat operation of the MLRS takes several minutes: obtaining coordinates, occupying a firing position, aiming, salvoing and quickly changing the firing position. The use of the Uragan makes it possible to selectively eliminate ammunition storage bases, places where equipment is concentrated, and cut off reserve units from the main forces.  Join Military Wave Источник: Military Wave
