Riding a Moist Mountain Lion

My Bikes- Buy a T from James- Sometimes you just have to get out there and find out how bad things can be to truly appreciate the good times. I am still calling this a win, as the DG does remarkably well with the moisture. No mud to speak of, just wet roots, rocks, bridges and squeaky brakes. Riding on wet ice in the rain is not everyone’s cup of tea, but it does make the tea taste better after the ride. Now I don’t necessarily recommend riding this in the rain, but there are certainly worse places and soils to ride in these conditions. Green Mountain comes to mind... Or the Lunch Loops in Grand Junction perhaps. The bentonite in GJ will suck the shoes off your feet after you abandon your bike and walk home. The lack of clay in the soil at this elevation makes for perfect grip with limited slip. Just close your mouth when you go through the river crossings, this time of year.
