“Hunters’ chorus“ performed in Russian by the Male Choir of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (former Moscow Engineering Physics Institute). Everyone who ever sang in the MEPhI Male Choir knows “Hunters’ chorus“, because since the choir foundation (in 1956) this opera chorus has always been one of the first three pieces for the choir beginners. Due to this tradition, we have another one: in the end of each choir’s anniversary concert all the former choristes being present among the audience come to the stage and together with the main part of the choir sing these three choruses: 1) Chorus of Men from “The Demon“ by Anton Rubinstein — 2) Hunter’s Chorus (you’re watching it now) 3) Gaudeamus — --------------------------------------- Карл Мария фон Вебер.
