Notorious drug lord arrested in Colombia

Ecuadorian gangster Gato Farfán, one of South America’s biggest drug traffickers, has been arrested in Colombia. Footage has been released of the arrest, the result of an 18-month co-ordinated investigation by Colombian and Ecuadorian police, as well as raids on several properties connected to Gato Farfán, and the confiscation of firearms and bundles of cash. Farfán is one of the continent’s most wanted criminals, and is thought to have been overseeing a huge shipment of drugs to the US, working with various Mexican cartels, at the time of his arrest.
