’Princess Royal’ is the first single release - now available across all streaming and download platforms - taken from the album ’Carolan’ by Simon Mayor (scheduled for release 10th March 2023). This is Simon’s setting for mandolin quartet (two mandolins, mandola and mandocello) of one of the most popular melodies by the Irish composer and harper Turlough O’Carolan (1670-1738).
