I live in Massachusetts and one of my favorite weekend getaway destinations is Cape Cod. Like many tourist spots, the Cape has its peak season. Although I enjoy peace and quiet, no traffic, empty beaches, and not having to wait in lines, if you go to the Cape anytime other than between mid-May to the first week in September, you’re going to miss out on some fun events, such as, the Nantucket Food and Wine Festival, Provincetown International Film Festival, Nantucket Comedy Festival, Provincetown Portuguese Festival, Cape Code Jazz Festival, Harwich Cranberry Arts and Music Festival, Yarmouth Seaside Festival, and my personal favorite, Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival. Just imagine walking through a quaint seaside village with miles of beautiful sandy beaches and seeing all these colorful vibra
