Back in the 1950s there was a similar Chollima campaign named after the ancient mythical flying horse Chollima that translates to “the thousand ri horse“. This fantastic horse could travel 1000 ri (400 km) in one single day. The new Mallima horse however translates to “the 10000 ri horse“ so now they hope for even faster progress.
