OIL PAINTING - Advice to My Younger Self, Water & Reflections, Wildlife Art

Painting water and reflections is not easy, in this video I share with you my experience that has lead me to improve that area of my art as well as backgrounds and foregrounds in general. I also show you how I painted this redhead duck in oils while I share that and other tips on #painting realism. There are a few pieces of advice that I would give to myself as a young artist and that is what I wanted to focus on today. This is my second of three waterfowl paintings that I’m going to #create as I work towards a duck stamp entry. I simply love how this one came out and look forward to getting started on the next.
