Digital Building Models Visualized in Mixed Reality with the HoloLens 2

HoloPLANNING brings your digital building models to the next level in mixed reality and with the Microsoft HoloLens 2. “3D models allow competition entries to be viewed from new angles - from the pedestrian perspective or even from a bird’s eye view. The models are self-explanatory, promote a common understanding among all participants and simplify the discussion of building projects.“ Büro für Bauökonomie AG conducted an architectural competition exclusively relying on digital tools for the first time. Three tools played the main role: - #ArcGIS Pro & ArcGIS Online for illustration and evaluation. - #FME for processing and quality control - #HoloPLANNING for visualization of the digital building models in augmented reality on the tabletop or on site in full size.
