The Cuckoo - Les Blackwell & Spoon Lady

My musical buddy Les Blackwell swing by the Spooniverse for a moment. We’ve been hanging out and talking shop, philosophy, and playing some music. Les is an interesting character that has a huge story to tell and has been playing music and writing songs from this town to that, sleeping rough when the occasion calls, and getting by on a bit of hope. This song, The Cuckoo, is a real old one and gets passed around a lot. I’ve probably played this song in some arrangement or another in most states, and now in Kansas.
