Scenes from “The Street Singer“ at the New Lyric Theatre. Miss Phyllis Dare plays a singer and Mr Harry Welchman an artist in the new musical. We see Harry painting and Phyllis playing the guitar and singing. Phyllis dances in a white ostrich feather outfit at a fancy dress party on stage. The chorus are dressed as various things - a cowboy, a clown, etc. Miss Dare dances with Harlequin, the dance incorporates ballet steps, lifts and twirls.
