Spanning through decades (and various genres), the choir performs a variety of songs now known across the globe; including Juluka’s famous ’Impi’, Miriam Makeba’s ’Click Song’, and more recent hits such as Freshly Ground’s Doo Be Doo and the Parlotones’ ’Push me to the Floor’.

Did you hear the news on the radio today?
People have agreed to give their love away
I can’t wait to be there in line, oh no
Politicians have agreed to honour and obey
They’ll come down and listen to what the people say
I can’t wait to be there in line, oh no
Doo bee doo bee doo bee doo ba yeah!
If you are ready feel free to come around
If you are ready Vem ca amigo, irei levar-te la
If you are ready, oh no
Doo bee doo bee doo bee doo ba yeah!
If you hear what I mean (clap and stomp your feet)
If you hear what I mean (clap and stomp your feet)
If you hear what I mean (clap and stomp your feet)
If you hear what I mean (clap and stomp your feet)
Don’t stand next to me
And think it comes so easy
I am not your toy
Push me to the floor
Don’t give up
Until I’m begging you for more
I’ll be thinking of the time I felt inspired
Push me to the floor
I’ll be thinking of the time I felt inspired
Impi!
Wo ’nans’ impi iyeza
Obani bengathinta amabhubesi?
All along the river
Chelmsford’s army lay asleep
Come to crush the Children of Mageba
Come to exact the Realm’s price for peace
And in the morning as they saddled up to ride
Their eyes shone with the fire and the steel
The General told them of the task that lay ahead
To bring the People of the Sky to heel
Impi!
Wo ’nans’ impi iyeza
Obani bengathinta amabhubesi?
Impi!
Wo ’nans’ impi iyeza
Obani bengathinta amabhubesi?
