SWIFT 3 Glider Debut at Coup Icare 2021

Introducing the Swift 3 ultralight electric motor glider and Class 2 hang glider! I have been working with Aeriane in Belgium over the last 2 years to upgrade the Swift Light to create the Swift 3, the highest performing hang glider ever manufactured. www_aeriane_dot_com Swift 3 has a maximum L/D of 35:1 and is stressed to 6 -4g. It can be flown as a foot-launched glider, tow launch, or electric motor glider as shown here. A month ago we unveiled the Swift 3 at the Coup Icare event in St. Hilaire du Touvet France and our chief pilot Manfred Ruhmer put on 2 aerial displays including soaring flight and aerobatics. Swift 3 features a completely redesigned wing planform, new airfoils, lighter composite structure, and optimized fuselage shape. Production will start in June 2022.
