Record Breaking Mammoth Snow Depth

This is a winter none of us will ever forget. With 712“ of season snowfall at Main Lodge and close to 900“ at the summit, we have been smashing records month after month and have recorded the deepest snowpack we’ve ever seen. Our snowcats are equipped with a snow satellite system to measure snow depths at different locations. Take a behind-the-scenes look at some of the depths recorded across the mountain. This footage was taken a month ago on April 14, but thanks to recent cold temps, the mountain is still holding close to these numbers - something we’ve never seen this late in the season.  Second Season at Mammoth is the best we’ve ever seen and we’re stoked to be skiing and riding daily with all of you through at least the end of July!  has context menu
