In Sorte Diaboli (literally Latin for “In the fate of the devil“, possibly intended to mean “In league with Satan“) is the seventh studio album by Norwegian symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir, and is the band’s first concept album. Concept In Sorte Diaboli is the band’s first concept album, with a story located in medieval Europe.
