A man shows three boys pictures of stained glass windows. Church windows. He explains the significance of the stories featured in the windows. In memory of the Grimsby fisherman who died in second world war. Artist’s drawing of a church window. He talks through the stages involved in designing and making a stained glass window. A “cartoon“ is pinned up and he talks the boys through how the cartoon and the tracing taken from it will aid in the making of the window. The cartoon is put on the table for the craftsman to work from. Mr Welsh the craftsman comes in and explains how the tracing is made. He uses Indian Ink to trace the design.
