Pony World Eves (1931)

Filmed at the Agricultural Hall in London. “Friends of the four-footed world.“ are shown - four women work on cleaning horse tackle. One of the women smokes. M/S of the girls as they shine up buckles etc. M/S of the girls walking towards the camera dressed in very large jodhpurs, they carry their saddles and other equipment. C/U of the girls laughing. “Only one parade for them - the one in front of the Judge’s eye - waiting for a favourable word.“ High angle shot of the ring, horses are shown, various shots of judges inspecting horses. M/S of girl on horseback. M/S of girl standing beside her mount holding the reins. “Young and old, the Pony-world Eves - a real dumb friends’ league.“ Young girl (about 7 or 8) holds the reins of a large pony. Closer view of the girl, she has plaited hair with ribbons on the end - cute. M/S of a young boy (5 or 6?) sitting on the back of a white pony. M/S of woman holding reins of two horses, one is the young boys. He sits in the saddle and smiles.
