Onion (finely chopped) - 2 large
Tomato (chopped) - 1 cup
Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Biryani masala - 2 tbsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Fresh coriander leaves (chopped) - 1/4 cup
Fresh mint leaves (chopped) - 1/4 cup
Green chilies (slit) - 2
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Oil - 4 tbsp
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Salt - to taste
[Preparation - Part 1: Making Mutton Kofta]
To begin our journey to a flavorful Biryani, we’ll start by making the delicious Mutton Kofta.
In a large mixing bowl, add the ground mutton, chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste, yogurt, biryani masala, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, chopped coriander leaves, and mint leaves.

Place the fried Mutton Koftas on top of the rice layer.
Continue layering with rice, koftas, tomatoes, green chilies, and biryani masala until all the ingredients are used.
