GWR Castle Class No. 7029 ‘Clun Castle’ returns to Kings Cross after 56 years! | 07/10/23

7029 ‘Clun Castle’ last visited London Kings across in 1967 and made its return today on the Vintage Trains railtour to Lincoln Central! We first see 47773 and 7029 double headed passing through Harrow & Wealdstone on 1Z29, where 47773 would run round the train and attach to the rear, ready to pull the train into Kings Cross! We then see the locomotive puffing it’s way through Finsbury Park after a red signal as it was approaching! Finally we head to Kings Cross to see 7029 return and shortly after depart, working 1Z30!
