War Veteran’s Leg Brace (1915-1920)

War veteran’s leg brace. Location of events unknown / unclear. MS man; wearing a British military hospital jacket, sat with leg stretched out as another man fits a splint. The splint or brace is made of metal bars and leather straps; a padded ring fits snugly round his upper thigh and the bars go all the way down his leg and under his shoe. Judging from scars on his thigh he was seriously injured. MS of the man walking out of the door using 2 canes; brace can’t be seen under his trousers. MS men sanding tables.
