HoloCouncil - Rise (Rock/Metal Remix)

(Acoustic intro ends at 0:58) A full year of HoloCouncil has already passed, and to celebrate they’ve released an original song! Cool to see all three generations of HoloEN (so far, that is) have their own tune. Rise shows some great chemistry with each of the Council members, and each one has their own distinct moments that each add a unique flair to the track. Baelz and Sana’s parts in the pre-chorus especially are just 👌👌👌. There’s more keyboards on this remix than most of my others; it’s something I’m trying to experiment with more lately. Even though keyboardists in metal bands are somewhat of a rarity, there’s still quite a few with skill comparable to guitar shredmasters. (Jordan Rudess and Michael Pinella should come to mind here.)
