The game was initially created for the 2022 challenge. It is based on the original creepypasta, using the original formula and revamping it to be even scarier, and uses the Not So Simple Sonic Worlds game engine. Upon booting up the game, greets the player, their old friend, admitting that their games have gotten a bit stale after so long. With this, Sonic decides to end things with a bang and kill all of Sonic’s friends one last time. Thus, he restarts the cursed game for the player to enjoy, now even more brutal and scary than ever before. One Last Round uses the traditional format, in that the player controls Tails, Knuckles, and Doctor Robotnik as they attempt to save the characters from a gruesome death at the hands of . Each character controls under basic Sonic physics, able to run around freely and jump over obstacles as well as interact with the environment in various ways. The game is incomplete & sadly it was cancelled, but for a good reason too. The creator of it is working on a remastered version of it, so once it’s done, we’ll get better & smoother graphics animations & an end for the story. The game has currently just 2 demos, Tails & Knuckles & the Eggman one is kinda buggy, therefore it wasn’t included in the official cancelled version of the game, but can be found online by searching for the beta testers version of the game.
