The song is “Moscow, October“ (Московская Октябрьская), from the 1994 album “Kostroma, mon Amour.“ It is a sad, but lyrically sublime response to the Russian Constitutional Crisis of September-October 1993, which involved the most deadly street fighting in Moscow since the Bolshevik Revolution of October 1917.
