Jacob Collier & AURORA - A Rock Somewhere X The Seed (Greenpeace)

Premiering Tuesday 1st October at 9am UK time. Sign the petition to protect our oceans here: Visit Greenpeace here: Last month, AURORA and I joined Greenpeace on their expedition to the Arctic, to deepen our understanding of the crisis our planet is facing, and perform an ode to its protection together. When the ship first anchored by the Sveabreen glacier, I was bowled over by its sheer beauty, but also by its deep fragility. We’ve lost two thirds of all the Arctic summer ice in the last forty years. It’s a shadow of its former self - yet it’s not too late for us to help. Our oceans are in crisis. Industrial fishing, oil drilling, warming temperatures and plastic pollution threaten one of the most important ecosystems on earth, which threatens all life as we know it. In order for our oceans to recover and thrive, scientists are telling us we must create a network of global ocean sanctuaries that are off limits to industrial activity. We’re joining Greenpeace in their call for a global ban on deep sea mining and for governments to protect at least 30% of the world’s oceans by 2030. Join us by signing the petition above and become an ocean defender today. • A GREENPEACE PRODUCTION Shot by Fionn Guilfoyle & Christian Aslund Video edited by Ali Deacon & Jacob Collier Visual Lead: Alex Yallop Creative Direction/Artist Management: Fran Haincourt Mixed by Jacob Collier, Ben Bloomberg, Alban Lejeune & Felix Pozzo Sound director: Alban Lejeune Sound Engineer: Jonathan Musialski Piano tuner: Jan Haghus BTS Videographer: Lewis Dodds Head of Comms: James Hanson Artist Liaison: Indi Heath A big thank you to the inspiring Arctic Sunrise Greenpeace crew for making us feel so at home aboard their ship; to Polar X; The Kulturhuset Svalbard: Are Nundal Follow Jacob Collier: @jacobcollier Follow AURORA @iamauroramusic
