The Deller Consort sing English Madrigals!

Video footage of the famed Deller Consort performing several English madrigals for French television in 1964. The Consort was originally founded in 1948 by the countertenor Alfred Deller. Membership in the ensemble varied from program to program with only a few regular members. In addition to Alfred Deller, this program appears to have sopranos April Cantelo and Mary Thomas., tenors Max Worthley and Philip Todd, and baritone Maurice Bevan, with Desmond Dupré on lute.
