Volcanic activity reveals WW2 era sunken ships in Japan
Volcanic activities in the Ogasawara Islands have revealed ships sunken in WW2 by the Japanese to create a harbour. Volcanic activity has caused the islands to raise further above sea level. Nearby the Fukutoku Okanoba underwater volcano has now breached the surface and created an island.
