Deep Space Transmission 3 by Chris Sagovac

Chris Sagovac is an American filmmaker and visual artist, currently an Assistant Professor of Animation at Webster University.  He has studied Animation and Fine Arts at Webster University before working  independently in the film and comic book industry as an illustrator. In addition, Sagovac’s paintings, films and collage pieces have shown in group exhibitions and film festivals nationally and internationally. About Deep Space Transmissions: “I am inspired by process, concept and collaboration.  As an animator and abstract painter I am fascinated with the recording and rapid transmission of gestures.  I achieve this by assembling each individual frame of motion media as if it were a paint stroke contributing to a greater whole, as if I were painting with light.
