ET spoke with royal expert Katie Nicholl about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s decision to start their own YouTube channel. Nicholl believes the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge want to appear more accessible, and she says this platform will allow them to expand their demographic to younger audiences. In addition, Nicholl says it’s probably not a coincidence that this new venture arrived shortly after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s multi-million dollar streaming deals were announced.
