Adam Savage Makes a Perfect Kitchen Mallet!

It’s hammertime! Adam remakes a basic kitchen mallet for tenderizing meats using some extra wood stock he has in the cave--an exercise in shaping the unique waffle pattern of the mallet head and marrying it to a turned handle. Adam’s mallet doesn’t reinvent the hammer, but it’s a much sturdier and reliable implement than the old mallet he’s had in his kitchen. A very satisfying hammer build indeed!
